To ensure comfortable all-day wear, the ears are set on a thin, flexible headband that sits securely and can be easily concealed under your hair. The inner wire frame lets you easily change the shape and expression of your ears, it is recommended to reshape the ears slowly to avoid permanent damage. You can add the Headset Adapt System (optional purchase) to easily wear your ears on any gaming headset. You can further customize your unique look with optional add-ons like Silver or Gold Piercings, Charms, Bells and Bows.
Ear Care
To keep your faux fur ears looking fresh and ready for your next event, a little TLC goes a long way. Since these are handmade accessories, do not use the washing machine and dryer, as high heat and agitation can permanently damage the synthetic fibers and the internal wiring.
Cleaning & Refreshing
For general upkeep, start by gently shaking the ears to remove loose dust. If they need a deeper clean, use a soft damp cloth, not a wet cloth as this may cause the paint to smudge. Gently dab the stained area—never rub, as this can mat the fur. Do not submerge the ears when cleaning them, the are not manufactured to be waterproof.
Grooming & Styling
Faux fur can get “bedhead” just like real hair. Use a fine-tooth comb or a clean pet grooming brush to gently brush the fur in the direction of growth. If the ears have been flattened during storage, a quick blast from a hair dryer on the coolest setting will help restore their volume. You can also use a small amount of hair spray to style the tufts, but avoid alcohol-based sprays which can degrade the fur over time.
Storage
When not in use, you can store your ears in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the colors from fading. It’s best to keep them in a breathable box where they won’t be crushed. With proper care, your ears will stay soft, upright, and perfectly posable for a long time
